UPCOMING EVENTS
A brilliant writer knows how to create exciting scenes in a manner that captivates both script readers and viewers. Improvisation techniques can enhance that creativity, leading to fresh material for comedic and dramatic stories and everything in between. In this two-day workshop, writers participate in guided team exercises (including improv games) and experiment with various practical approaches to produce ideas that could help build a script. The collaborative environment not only generates content but can also enhance self-confidence. Overnight, you write a couple of new pages, and the next day you see a script-in-hand staged reading of your improv-inspired scene.
From legendary director Ridley Scott, Gladiator II continues the epic saga of power, intrigue, and vengeance set in Ancient Rome. Years after witnessing the death of the revered hero Maximus at the hands of his uncle, Lucius (Paul Mescal) is forced to enter the Colosseum after his home is conquered by the tyrannical Emperors who now lead Rome with an iron fist.
You have a great project, but can you sell it? Often times the hardest part in the creative world is getting a producer or company or studio to invest in an idea you believe will reach audiences around the world. Expressing your concepts clearly and efficiently can be an art itself, and one that takes years to master. This class will equip you with the tools necessary to SELL your IP (intellectual property), including the opportunity to practice your pitch.
Start your career or improve upon your current skills in the industry with advanced knowledge. The PA Academy shows you what it takes to succeed while preparing you for your first day on set or your transition from a dayplayer to a core crew member.
