Become a Content Writer for the Atlanta Film Society
The Atlanta Film Society is looking for content writers to share their thoughts and knowledge on the film industry! We’re looking for writers who are enthusiastic and knowledgeable on all things film, from blockbusters to independent film, you name it!
Content writers are volunteers who help the full time ATLFS staff write blog posts and articles that members of the Atlanta film community would find useful or interesting. If selected, you can expect to write one or two posts a month. Please note that there is a possibility that not every piece you write will end up published on our website/on our social channels. Final approval of posts is decided by members of our community relations team.
Content writers can earn up to an ALL ACCESS Badge to the 2020 Atlanta Film Festival depending on how many writing assignments they take on! Writers can also use the content they produce as writing samples for future opportunities.
The ATLFS Content Writing team is comprised of 5 to 10 writers with a passion for film and the film industry. While some of our content writers work in the film or entertainment industries, not all of them do! All applications will be fully considered regardless of profession.
PLEASE NOTE: Content writers are not representatives of the ATLFS community relations team nor are they staff or affiliates of the Atlanta Film Festival/Atlanta Film Society. By filling out this application, you acknowledge the volunteer nature of the role.
