From Sundance to Ladyfest: TRAPPED Hits the Plaza 5/19

In partnership with the Atlanta Film Society and the Plaza Theatre Foundation, Ladyfest Atlanta presents Sundance-premiere documentary "Trapped" this Thursday evening at the Plaza Theatre for one time only.

U.S. reproductive health clinics are fighting to remain open. Since 2010, 288 laws regulating abortion providers have been passed by state legislatures. 44 states subject abortion providers to legal restrictions not imposed on other medical professionals. "Trapped" follows clinic workers and lawyers who are on the front lines of the battle to keep abortion safe and legal for millions of American women. Suggested admission donation is $10, but no one will be turned away due to insufficient funds while space allows. Ladyfest Atlanta takes place Monday, May 16 through Saturday, May 21 in multiple venues such as Eyedrum, Mammal Gallery, Murmur, Highland Inn, and Central Library.
