Cal has consistently performed at a high level throughout his professional career which includes Sports, Entrepreneurship, and Corporate Business. Through sports, he learned, the key to success is hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Cal based his professional growth and success on these principles. Cal was selected as the 17th overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft. After three seasons in the NBA he journeyed to Europe playing three more seasons in Italy.

Cal retired from sports in May 2005 at which point he transitioned into entrepreneurship, starting his own company, Downtown Auction Company which specialized in estates, bankruptcies, liquidations, etc. After seven years as an entrepreneur, Cal entered the corporate world, accepting a role with the Atlanta Hawks as a B2B Membership Sales Consultant. While there, he was able to vastly expand his knowledge and understanding of sales as it pertains to Corporate America. He built a strong network which led him into his current role with Comcast/NBC Universal where he continues to expand his network by specializing in the creation, development, and maximization of relationships with the top Real Estate Developers and Builders throughout Greater Atlanta. Cal has since worked closely with the Atlanta Film Society and joined the Board of Directors in 2016 expanding his knowledge and connections in the film/tv industry. He now serves as the Chairman of Board of Directors for the Atlanta Film Society.

We are proud to have you serve as Chairman and look forward to what's in the works! We also want to thank our out-going Chair, Walker Anderson who has served on our board twice as Board Chair and on our board for over a decade! We are excited that he is taking in a new role as Chair of our Advisory Board and appreciate his continued leadership.
