Eat, Drink & B-Indie presented by Stella Artois: Range & Representation in Film

  • Highland Inn Ballroom Lounge 644 North Highland Avenue NE Atlanta, GA 30306 (map)

In what ways are minorities limited in the range of roles offered to them both in front and behind the camera? How do we affect what productions look for in making casting decisions? What can we do as active members in the film community to broaden the representation of underheard voices and marginalized subjects?

This month at Eat, Drink & B-Indie presented by Stella Artois, join us in the Highland Inn Ballroom Lounge for a FREE panel discussion about the representation of race, gender, and age in Atlanta's film industry.

Local filmmakers and Atlanta Film Festival alumni Babacar Ndiaye and Danielle Deadwyler, The People Store casting agents Thom Milam and Rhavynn Drummer, BronzeLens Film Festival founding Artistic Director Deidre McDonald, and Producer extraordinaire Linda Burns will discuss the above topics and more.

As always, the first 40 attendees (of appropriate age) will receive a drink ticket for a free Stella Artois!
