The Atlanta Film Society partners with Westside Provisions District to present the third annual Sundown Series: a cultural celebration of art, music, food and film.
Focusing this season on films spotlighting the South, this year’s Sundown Series will kick off with “Fried Green Tomatoes,” starring Jessica Tandy, Kathy Bates, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Mary-Louise Parker.
Folk duo Mouths of Babes begins at 6:30pm. Sample FGT-inspired bites from Westside Provisions restaurants from 7pm while supplies last. At Sundown (approximately 8:30 p.m), head to The Lane, located between Yeah! Burger and Seed Factory, to grab a prime spot for the evening’s feature film. The film is best enjoyed with take-out picnic dinners and beverages from Westside Provisions restaurants.
All Sundown Series events are free to the public. The second installment will take place on Wednesday, June 29, and the series concludes Wednesday, July 27. For more information on Westside Provisions and for a full Sundown Series schedule, please visit www.westsideprovisions.com.
