These three courses are designed to work together to bring the beginner up to speed on the basics of the film industry: film set terminology and protocol, crew positions, definitions, and hierarchy, the entry level positions in all departments, where to find work and network, and the proper format for film and television resumes to give you a leg up on the competition.
Intro to the Film Business (9:30 AM - 12:30 PM)
Interested in the growing Georgia film industry, but don't know where to start? This class walks you through the basic duties, responsibilities, and hierarchy of each department working on a film set, introduces you to basic production lingo and terminology, and the basics of the business from development to sale.
Starting a Career in the Film Business (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
Learn the entry level positions in all departments, the paths to different careers, and how to transition from another industry. Long hours, a strong work ethic, and a good attitude are needed to survive as a freelancer, and this class can help you determine whether you have the ability, talent, and discipline to more forward with a career in this industry.
Resumes for Film and Television (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM)

An improper format, among numerous other mistakes, won't make it past the gatekeeper. Get your resume in shape, and learn the tips and tricks to make sure you get that call. Whether you've got credits, are in school, or transitioning from another the industry, learn how build a solid resume.
