To address the needs of our burgeoning creative community, Georgia State University’s School of Law and Creative Media Industries Institute are hosting a one day seminar on on Saturday, November 16th.
Panels will address securing, protecting, transferring and selling intellectual property rights, with separate sessions for music, film and television, and emerging technologies.
In order to more fully address IP issues in a more thorough and engaging way, each panel will have a creative person, an attorney specializing in Intellectual property, and a producer or executive.
Georgia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts will review case studies to show practical solutions to real world IP issues.
There will be also be an All Star panel to discuss Atlanta’s push to becoming a nationally recognized creative hub.
