The CINEMA Project is an exciting transformative workforce development program that will train and provide new opportunities for 18-24-year-olds who are disconnected from work and/or education to obtain entry-level jobs in Information Communications Technology (ICT) fields (e,g, digital media production, film/TV production).
On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, ATLFS and the Alonzo A. Crim Center at GSU will be holding a CINEMA Project information session from 4-5 pm EST. Attendance is strongly encouraged for anyone interested in applying to the program. This session will cover:
An overview of the redesigned program - its goals and background
Details about the structure of the program, including classes, site visits, and projects participants will be completing
Application and eligibility requirements and application timeline
The benefits of participating in the CINEMA Project from a CINEMA alumni
Q&A
The third cohort of the CINEMA Project begins January 31, 2022. The program will have both virtual and in-person components so applicants must live in the state of Georgia and must be able to travel to downtown Atlanta at least twice a week for the duration of the project. Additional eligibility requirements and application instructions will be covered during the information session.
If you cannot attend this information session, we will be holding a second virtual information session on January 5, 2022. We will also be posting a recording of both sessions.
