Ever wonder why John Williams’ music draws you into the world of Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Indiana Jones? Or why your mouth waters every time you hear ingredients sizzling on Iron Chef? This class will provide you with best practices for creating your own soundscapes for your independent projects. We will dive into the science of sound perception and learn how to immerse viewers into your imaginary world, and navigate open-source software (i.e. Audacity) to record and manipulate your own sound effects. Trinity will also provide tips and tricks on finding and selecting the best music for your projects.

Refund request must be emailed to boxoffice@atlantafilmsociety.org 7 days prior to the date of event unless specified in the event description.
