Looking to shoot your next project with a budget, but not sure where to find equipment, how the rental process works, and what you need to provide? We've got you covered. This month at Eat, Drink & B-Indie, join ATLFS for a moderated conversation with our very own Creative Conference Director and Producer, Linda Burns, and special guests, Mark Wofford of PC&E, Trevor Phillips of GA Prop Source, Lynn W. Mathis, CPCU of Williams, Turner & Mathis Inc., and Ryan Amos of Set Supplies, LLC, to discuss all things rentals from cameras, grip, lighting, vehicles, and sound stages to props and set dressing to insurance covering vendors, locations, and cast & crew.
Mark Wofford is the President and CEO of PC&E. He is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the company, and reports directly to the company’s Board of Directors. Mark also serves on the Board of Directors of ESTA (Entertainment Services and Technology Association), a national non-profit trade association for the entertainment technology industries. He is a veteran of the film business in Georgia specifically in the areas of commercial productions. Mark has worked at PC&E for almost 18 years and has more than 35 years’ experience in the motion equipment rental business and commercial production. He served for several years as Account Manager for Atlanta’s CineFilm, a motion picture laboratory processing 16mm and 35mm negative. There, Mark provided customer service for customers from across the country and represented the sales efforts of CineFilm in film processing and film to tape transfer. Prior to that, he worked for twelve years as a freelancer in commercial film production as an Assistant Director and Production Manager.
Trevor Phillips manages GA Prop Source. In his 6 years at Prop Source, he has worked with thousands of productions ranging from major studio releases to first time indies.
Lynn W. Mathis is with Biltmore Insurance Services LLC DBA Williams, Turner & Mathis Inc. She was President and COO of Williams, Turner & Mathis until its merger with Biltmore in 2021. Lynn began working with the film industry in the early 1980s when she developed an insurance program for smaller production companies who at that time had limited options for insurance. As the film industry evolves, Biltmore/WTM continues to work with production companies, but also equipment rental operations and others who support the film industry. The agency provides all types of insurance including business, personal, and benefits.
Set Supplies, LLC has been providing film and television production supplies in Atlanta and the entire Southeast for on location filming for over 20 years.
