We will discuss barriers faced by filmmakers and audiences, inclusive practices, and attainable solutions for both independent film and studio pictures.

  • Babacar Ndiaye is a Chicago-born and Atlanta-based filmmaker. He has has worked on numerous projects for clients such as AMC, Adult Swim, and VH1, as well as music videos for Def Jam and Capitol Records. Babacar has a B.A. from UGA and an M.A. from Georgia State University. He has also been a Filmmaker-In-Residence with the Atlanta Film Society.

  • Elli Belle Dean is a painter, animator, and music video artist with an MFA in Computer Art and Animation from Florida Atlantic University. • Keith Brooks is an actor, writer, director, editor, and sub par filmmaker hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. As an actor, you might recognize him from The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, Renfield, Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell, A Man in Full, or that OnlyFans subscription you lie to your significant other about. As a writer and director, Keith has worked on tons of shorts, a few episodics, some podcasts, and features like Nerd Love and DickBall which will be released in late cough cough. You might have seen some of his editing prowess with the new hit, TTRPG channel, Big Bad Dungeon, where he also flexes his muscle as a producer using the moniker of his company that he co-owns, Bean Dip Productions. A graduate of Berry College, The Juilliard School, Southern New Hampshire University, and NYU, Keith teaches acting classes, co-hosts podcasts like Not Quite Cool and Not Quite Darkness, and is an overly protective pet dad. He is also a musician (check out bands Hungerpink and It's Not an Aircraft), and an avid nunchuck enthusiast.
