ABOUT THE PANELISTS:

  • Brooke "B" Sonenreich currently serves as the Events and Education Director at Moonshine Post-Production building out the company's Experience Department. Prior to this role, she gained experience in Atlanta's vibrant film community by serving as the Community Relations Manager and Marketing Manager at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, the largest film festival in Georgia and the largest Jewish film festival in the country. Additionally, Brooke served as the Editor-in-Chief of Oz Magazine, an Atlanta-based film industry publication, where she conducted insightful interviews with influential actors, directors, and producers. With a Master's degree in Communication from Georgia State University, focusing on film theory and media studies, and a Bachelor's degree with honors in Creative Writing and Film Studies from Florida State University, her academic background complements her extensive professional experience. Beyond Brooke’s career, she is the founder of ATLFilmParty, a free film competition dedicated to supporting Atlanta-raised and based filmmakers, showcasing her commitment to fostering talent and creativity within the local film industry.

  • John Petersen, a.k.a "JP," is an experienced veteran in post-production, and serves as Moonshine Post's Partner and Supervising colorist. He began his career in post in Chicago, IL, working with agencies on national and international accounts. Beginning in tape duplication and landing as a colorist and telecine operator, JP learned valuable film skills to prepare for the next chapter in his career. After moving to Atlanta, he began scanning film with CineFilm lab, now Kodak Film Lab Atlanta. For over a decade, JP scanned millions of feet of film; amongst jobs were science and engineering projects with NASA, the Department of Energy, Lockheed Martin, creative projects with major film studios and award-winning directors of photography. Today, he collaborates with the Atlanta film and TV community while working alongside the post team at Moonshine. Recently, JP oversaw the completion of construction on Moonshine Post 2.0 to accommodate clients for commercial brands, feature films, and streaming series. His seasoned wisdom, combined with youthful vigor, makes him Moonshine's finest aged spirit. Outside of the office, JP’s a family man who enjoys summer trips home to Indiana with his wife, their two kids, and their dog, Ruth.

  • Kristina Kromer, affectionately referred to as “Kromer”, is a talented editor who wears many hats in the post production field. She plays an integral role at Moonshine in the cutting room, editing feature films like Kemba, series like Creepshow, and commercials for big name brands like "Fanta" and "Chick-Fil-A." When Kromer is not pulling all the stops to make deadlines, she can be found flipping through her favorite modern comics or being a stellar dog mom to Sara.

  • A transplant from Nashville in 2021, Caleb Wood brings a decade of producing experience to the Moonshine team, as well as a serious eye for detail. He prides himself on his responsiveness to client needs, as well as his stewardship of budgets and timelines. If you’re looking for Caleb, you can usually find him in the trenches with his team getting involved in the finer details of the post process and finding creative solutions for his clients. The only job he loves more than fixing it in post is being a husband and dad. When Caleb is not at work, his ideal vibe is stoking coals and good convos around his fire pit, playing board games, or biting into some of that delicious Hattie B’s Hot Chicken!

Moonshine is a full service post-production house with world class facilities in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. Surrounded by a solid team of artists, supervisors and technicians the company has many years of experience, and a consistent track record for delivering creative work on time, on budget, and with exceptional service. When they’re not servicing Commercial Stories, Broadcast Episodics or Big Screen Deliverables, Moonshine is making movies. They have strong roots in the Atlanta film and indie scene and not only do they recognize the importance in cultivating talent, but also in collaborating with new talent – they do this for the sole reason they started their business: better story telling.
