The What, Who & How of Georgia Production Tax Credits

So you know Atlanta's mid-boom film industry has, in part, Georgia's production tax credits to thank. But do you know the ins and outs of how they can benefit you? September's Eat, Drink & B-Indie—our monthly free networking event five years running—revolves around answering these questions.

ATLFS Executive Director Christopher Escobar will moderate an explanatory discussion between representatives from The City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of Entertainment, Indiepay and State Tax Credit Exchange followed by an audience Q&A. What projects qualify for what credits? How much money can you save? What makes Georgia's credits better or more desirable than other states? What does this mean for Atlanta's economy and local industry?

If you have an interest in answering these questions for an upcoming project or general film industry knowledge, join us Tuesday, September 20th at Manuel's Tavern for your chance to ask the experts and network with like-minded film folks. You never know who you'll meet!

The first 40 (21+) attendees receive a drink ticket for a free PBR.
