A veteran to the film industry, Linda Burns moves class attendees through the steps of filmmaking in a full-day workshop, divided into three parts. Attendees can register for all three workshops at a discounted rate, or customize their day plan.

The day will start with Intro to the Film Biz 101, which teaches must-have knowledge with hands-on experience. It delves further with a breakdown of the script-to-screen processes.

Students can enter the afternoon session, Intro to Set Office and Art PA 102, expecting to learn the basics for production assistant responsibilities and how one job title differs between feature and TV expectations.

Last but not least, How to Create a Proper Film Resume and Network for a Gig aims to help attendees create their most-marketable resume. This evening session teaches individuals how to take networking beyond the paper and market his or herself in a business that often requires more of “who you know."
