Eat, Drink & B-Indie presented by Stella Artois: Atlanta Film Industry Training Program

  • Manuel's Tavern 602 North Highland Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30307 United States (map)

The Mayor's Office, the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency (AWDA) and IATSE Local 479 are partnering to develop a film industry training program that places qualified trainees on any production set for 17 weeks and pays them to learn the skills and training needed to continue to work below the line jobs for the industry.

This month's EDBI panel will consist of program representatives such as Michael Sterling (Director of The Atlanta Workforce Development Agency) Mike Atkins (Director of IATSE Local 479), and LaRonda Sutton (Director of the Mayor's Office of Film & Entertainment).

This will also be our last EDBI at Manuel's Tavern for a few months while they undergo renovations AND the last night of our #40Kin40days Kickstarter campaign! We want to make this our biggest EDBI ever, so join us and invite your friends! In January, we will temporarily move EDBI to the Highland Inn Ballroom Lounge.

Join us on the third Tuesday of every month at Manuel's Tavern for Eat, Drink & B-Indie presented by Stella Artois! The first 40 (age appropriate) attendees will receive a ticket good for a free Stella Artois.
