ATLFF Hit LIMO RIDE Back With New Trailer, Theater Run
After hiring a sketchy limousine service, a rag-tag bunch of hard partiers embark on their New Year's tradition—running naked into the Gulf of Mexico—only to find themselves 24 hours later kidnapped, stripped, stranded and left for dead. Combining narration of the actual participants with feature-length re-creation, filmmakers Gideon C. Kennedy and ATLFS Filmmaker-in-Residence Marcus Rosentrater take you on a hilarious LIMO RIDE.
The greatest bar story ever told has a new poster and trailer in preparation for its limited theater and video release this fall. The award-winning documentary comedy about ten friends surviving their wildest night starts its limited theatrical run Friday Sept. 23rd at Plaza Atlanta and will be available on iTunes, Amazon, VHX, DVD, Blu-Ray and more starting Oct. 14th.
Touring cinemas, barrooms and breweries, the film's shown to thousands in over 20+ cities and festivals, including Another Hole in the Head in San Francisco, Birmingham's Sidewalk Film Festival, London's East End Film Festival, and the Parisian film series Le Club Docu, showcasing the best in pop documentaries.
Returning home to Atlanta, where it premiered at the Atlanta Film Festival to two sold-out screenings, LIMO RIDE begins a week-long engagement at the Plaza Theatre starting Friday Sept. 23rd before moving along to Albuquerque, NM (9/27), Dallas, TX (10/4) and Columbia, SC, with more cities and dates TBA.
