After nearly a decade-long absence, the Atlanta Film Society is pleased to once again present LOCALS ONLY, a recurring screening of thematically tied short films from Georgia’s independent filmmakers.
Scholarships Are Available For Video Editing and Motion Graphics Crash Courses
Interested in learning video editing or motion graphics but don’t have the funds? The Atlanta Film Society & Georgia Media Workshop are offering special scholarships for individuals in financial need. If approved, scholarship amounts can cover up to 50% of registration costs.

The Atlanta Film Society is partnering with local industry members for an event dedicated to Georgia screenwriters. Chosen through submission process, Page to Stage will highlight the best of Georgia's locally written, unproduced screenplays in a live staged reading with professional casts.

¡CineMás! is back for the fourth year! Join us for screenings of Asori Soto's CUBAN FOOD STORIES (Cuba), Alfonso Cuarón's ROMA (Mexico) and Cristina Gallego & Ciro Guerra's BIRDS OF PASSAGE (Colombia). Local area restaurants will provide special food for each screening.

GSU grad, named one of the ‘Atlanta Business Journal’s 2017 40 Under 40, and the illustrious Atlanta Film Society Executive Director. Atlanta Film Society (ATLFS) and Kodak are in partnership to present the 100 Feet of Film Project. This project provides a team of filmmakers with the opportunity to maximize their creativity while minimizing the ability to reshoot.
