Atlanta Film Society has been approved for a $20,000 Grants for Arts Projects award to support the 2021 Atlanta Film Festival. This project will help support Georgia’s fast growing film industry, one of the largest production locations in the world.

ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Film Society (ATLFS) and The Plaza Theatre, in partnership with the nonprofit Sundance Institute, are pleased to share 11 films that will be presented in Atlanta as part of the Satellite Screens initiative for the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, January 28 – February 3, 2021. All 11 films will be making their world premieres at Sundance.

PARK CITY, UTAH — The nonprofit Sundance Institute today unveiled plans for the seven-day 2021 Sundance Film Festival, offered digitally via a custom-designed online platform (festival.sundance.org) alongside drive-ins, independent arthouses, and a network of local community partnerships. These individuals and organizations help create a supportive environment for women in the industry by giving them more opportunities and spreading awareness of the underrepresentation of women in film and media.

The Atlanta Film Society and Kodak Film Laboratories are proud to offer avenues for the Atlanta film community to enrich their knowledge of film and filmmaking. Kodak Film Labs offer dedicated color negative processing as well as film scanning and a myriad of other services.
